Yule Island is not a city, but a small island located in the Central Province of Papua New Guinea. It is known for its rich cultural heritage and is mainly inhabited by the Koiari people. Despite its small size, Yule Island holds historical significance as it was the site of the first Catholic missionary settlement in Papua New Guinea. The main settlement on Yule Island is known as Vabukori and is home to the Yule Island Health Centre and a primary school.
