Xigaze, also known as Rikaze, is a city located in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. It is the second-largest city in Tibet, after Lhasa, and serves as the administrative center of the Xigaze Prefecture.
Xigaze/Rikaze is situated at an elevation of 3,800 meters (12,500 feet) above sea level and is surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges, including the Himalayas. The city has a unique geographical location, being situated at the confluence of the Yarlung Tsangpo River and the Nyang River.
