Urubupunga is a city in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It is located in the northwest region of the state, near the border with Mato Grosso do Sul. The city has a population of approximately 6,000 people and covers an area of 804.9 square kilometers. Urubupunga is known for its agriculture, particularly soybean and corn production, as well as cattle farming. The city is also home to the Ilha Solteira Dam, which is one of the largest hydroelectric power plants in Brazil.
