San Esteban is a 4th class municipality in the province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines. It is located in the northern part of the province and is bordered by the towns of Santa, Sto. Domingo, Caoayan, and the province of Abra. The municipality has a total land area of 48.48 square kilometers and is home to a population of approximately 17,300 people.
