Salt Lake City is the capital and largest city of the state of Utah in the United States. It is located in northern Utah, situated between the Wasatch Range and the Great Salt Lake. The city was founded in 1847 by a group of Mormon pioneers led by Brigham Young. Today, Salt Lake City is known for its beautiful mountain views, outdoor recreational activities, and as the headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church).
