Sachigo Lake is a remote First Nations community in northwestern Ontario, Canada. It is located 425 kilometers north of Thunder Bay and is accessible only by air or winter ice roads. The community is situated on the western shore of Sachigo Lake, which is part of the Sachigo River system. The population of Sachigo Lake is approximately 500 people, most of whom are members of the Sachigo Lake First Nation. The community is known for its rich cultural heritage, traditional fishing and trapping activities, and stunning natural beauty.
