Prescott is a city located in Yavapai County, Arizona, United States. It is the county seat of Yavapai County and has a population of approximately 43,000 people. Prescott is known for its mild climate, outdoor recreational activities, historic downtown, and numerous lakes and trails in the surrounding area. The city is also home to Prescott College and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Additionally, Prescott has a rich history as the territorial capital of Arizona from 1864 to 1867.
