- Masindi city is a town located in the Masindi District of Uganda. It is approximately 220 kilometers northwest of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. Masindi city is situated on the eastern banks of the Albert Nile, a major waterway in the region. The city is known for its agricultural activities, particularly in the cultivation of crops such as coffee, tea, and sugarcane. Masindi city is also a gateway to Murchison Falls National Park, one of the largest national parks in Uganda, famous for its wildlife and stunning waterfalls. The city has a population of approximately 31,000 according to the 2014 census.
