Marromeu is a city located in the Sofala Province of Mozambique, in southeastern Africa. It is situated on the southern bank of the Zambezi River, approximately 200 kilometers northeast of the capital city, Maputo. Marromeu is known for its rich biodiversity, as it is home to the Marromeu Game Reserve, which is one of the largest national parks in Mozambique.
