Lossiemouth is a town located on the northeast coast of Scotland. While it is often referred to as "Lossie," it is not officially considered a city. It is situated at the mouth of the River Lossie, hence the name. Lossiemouth is part of the Moray council area and is around 5 miles north of Elgin, the administrative center of Moray. The town is known for its beautiful sandy beaches, historic sites, and as a popular destination for outdoor activities such as fishing, golfing, and water sports. It is also home to RAF Lossiemouth, a Royal Air Force station.
