Iron Mountain is a city located in Dickinson County, in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, United States. It is situated on the Menominee River and is approximately 100 miles north-northeast of Green Bay, Wisconsin. The city has a population of around 7,600 people. Iron Mountain is known for its mining history and outdoor recreational opportunities, including hiking, fishing, and skiing. The area is also home to the Pine Mountain Ski Jump, one of the highest artificially created ski jumps in the world.
