Fort Leonard Wood is a U.S. Army installation located in Pulaski County, Missouri. It is named after Leonard Wood, a former Army Chief of Staff. While Fort Leonard Wood is not technically a city, it serves as a military community and has a population of around 13,500 military personnel and their families. The installation is home to several major training schools, including the U.S. Army Engineer School, the U.S. Army Military Police School, and the U.S. Army Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear School.
