- Enid is a city in northern Oklahoma, United States. It is the county seat of Garfield County. Enid is located approximately 70 miles north of Oklahoma City and 120 miles west of Tulsa. As of the 2020 census, the population of Enid was estimated to be around 50,000 people. Enid has a diverse economy with industries such as oil and gas, agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare, and education. The city is also known for its historical downtown area, numerous parks and recreational areas, and annual events such as the Tri-State Music Festival and the Cherokee Strip Days Celebration.
