Caloundra City was a local government area located in the Sunshine Coast region of Queensland, Australia. It existed from 1912 to 2008, when it was amalgamated with the other local government areas on the Sunshine Coast to form the Sunshine Coast Region. Caloundra City encompassed the suburbs of Caloundra, Moffat Beach, Kings Beach, Golden Beach, Currimundi, Little Mountain, and parts of Meridan Plains and Aroona. The city was known for its beautiful beaches, parks, and waterways, making it a popular tourist destination.
