- Umtata Airport, also known as OR Tambo Airport, is a small regional airport located in Mthatha, Eastern Cape, South Africa. It is named after Oliver Reginald Tambo, a prominent anti-apartheid activist and former president of the African National Congress. The airport has a single runway and serves as a gateway for domestic flights to and from cities such as Johannesburg and Durban. It is located approximately 16 kilometers northeast of the city center of Mthatha.
