- Ube Airport, also known as Yamaguchi Ube Airport, is a small regional airport located in Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. It serves as a gateway to the western region of Honshu Island. The airport was opened in 1996 and has a single terminal building. It mainly handles domestic flights, primarily operated by Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways, to destinations such as Tokyo, Osaka, and Sapporo. Ube Airport also offers some international flights to South Korea and Taiwan. The airport is located approximately 8 kilometers from Ube City center and can be accessed by public transportation or taxi services.
