Cheap flights to Richards-Gebaur
- Richards-Gebaur Airport, also known as Richards-Gebaur Air Force Base, was a former military and civilian airport located in Kansas City, Missouri. It was initially established as a military training facility during World War II and later became a major Air Force base.
- Richards-Gebaur Air Force Base played a significant role during the Cold War as a Strategic Air Command (SAC) base, housing B-47 and B-52 bombers. It also served as the headquarters for the 442d Fighter Wing of the Air Force Reserve.
- In the 1990s, Richards-Gebaur Air Force Base was closed as part of the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) process. The military operations ceased, and the airport was eventually transferred to the City of Kansas City.
- Today, the area has been redeveloped into an industrial park known as Frontier Industrial Park. The former airport buildings have been repurposed as commercial and industrial facilities, housing various businesses and organizations.
