- Port Columbus International Airport is a public airport located in Columbus, Ohio. It is the primary airport serving the city and is owned and operated by the Columbus Regional Airport Authority. It was originally named Port Columbus when it opened in 1929 but was renamed in 2016 to John Glenn Columbus International Airport in honor of the astronaut and former U.S. Senator John Glenn. The airport has three runways and one passenger terminal with concourses A, B, and C. It offers domestic and international flights and serves as a hub for airlines such as Southwest Airlines and American Airlines.
