- Manang airport, also known as the Humde airport, is a small domestic airport located in Manang district of Gandaki Pradesh, Nepal. It serves as the gateway to popular trekking destinations like Annapurna Circuit and Thorong La Pass. The airport is situated at an elevation of 3,325 meters (10,909 feet) above sea level, making it one of the highest altitude airports in the world. It has a single paved runway measuring 500 meters in length and is capable of handling small aircraft like Twin Otter and Dornier. Due to its high altitude and challenging terrain, the airport has limited operational capacity and is prone to weather-related disruptions. However, it provides crucial air connectivity to the remote Manang region and plays a vital role in supporting tourism and local communities in the area.
