Cheap flights to Kent International
- Kent International Airport is a regional airport located in the county of Kent, England. The airport is situated in Manston, near the village of Minster-on-Sea. It is primarily used for freight operations and aviation-related business activities.
- Originally built as a military airfield during World War II, the airport has undergone several changes over the years. In 2014, it was announced that the airport would close due to financial difficulties. However, in 2020, it was acquired by RiverOak Strategic Partners, who have plans to redevelop the site into a dedicated air freight handling facility.
- Kent International Airport has a single runway and serves as a base for a number of cargo airlines. It also has facilities for general aviation and private aircraft. The airport is located approximately 14 miles northeast of the city of Canterbury and is accessible via road and rail networks.
- While the airport currently does not have any passenger airline services, there have been proposals in the past to develop it into a commercial airport that would serve the region of Kent. However, these plans have not come to fruition as of now.
