- Filton Airport, also known as Bristol Filton Airport, is a former airport located in Filton, a suburb of Bristol, England. It was established in 1910 and served as a major aviation hub in the region. Filton Airport played a significant role during World War I and World War II, serving as a manufacturing and testing site for various aircraft, including the famous Concorde. However, with the decline in commercial flights and the expansion of nearby Bristol Airport, Filton Airport ceased its operations in 2012. The site has since been redeveloped into a housing and business park called Bristol Filwood Park.
