- Bali airport, officially known as Ngurah Rai International Airport and between locals commonly referred to as Denpasar Airport, is the main airport serving the island of Bali, Indonesia. Located about 13 kilometers south of Denpasar, the capital city of Bali, it is the third busiest airport in Indonesia after Jakarta and Surabaya. The airport has undergone various expansions and renovations to accommodate the increasing number of tourists visiting Bali. It offers both domestic and international flights, connecting Bali to various destinations around the world. The airport is named after I Gusti Ngurah Rai, an Indonesian national hero who fought against the Dutch colonial rule.
